Questions before you join

What do I need to sign up?

An email address and a password. After that we ask for your mobile number, date of birth and city, so shops can find you at the counter and send birthday treats. You must be at least 10 years old. Choose a few interests so Explore shows places you'll like first.

Why do you need my mobile number?

Staff use it to find you at the counter when you don't have your phone out. Shops only see the last four digits of members' numbers unless they search your full number. We never sell your number, and you control offer and email notifications in Profile.

Why do you ask for my date of birth?

Many shops send a birthday reward or offer, and Eknas needs your date of birth to send it on the right day. It also confirms you meet the minimum age of 10. Your date of birth isn't shown on your public reviews, which show only your first name and last initial.

I already earned points with my phone number. Will I lose them?

No. If a shop added you by mobile number before you signed up, those points are saved. The next time staff at that shop scan your Eknas code, they confirm it's you and your history moves into your account. Both outcomes are recorded and you're notified.

Can I use one account at every shop?

Yes. One Eknas account holds a separate card for every shop you visit, each with its own points and rewards. You see all of them in one place on the app or website, and you can browse more shops near you in Explore.

How do I delete my account?

Open Profile, choose to delete your account and confirm with your password, or follow the steps on our support page. Deleting erases your name, number, birthday and email, cancels open reward codes and clears your review comments. Shops keep only anonymous purchase totals for their own records.
